Men's accessories: ties, pocket squares, cufflinks
A few centimetres of cloth change the tone of a suit. This is the part of the wardrobe where you can afford to be less careful.
Ties
Printed and jacquard silk for the formal register. Wool gabardine and knitted silk for winter and for the unstructured jacket.
The width is kept at seven and a half centimetres: it holds against both a wide and a narrow lapel.
Pocket squares
Silk for contrast, linen for a drier register.
A pocket square does not match the tie. It sits beside it. One colour picked up, not repeated.
Cufflinks and small objects
Silver and lacquered silver, some hand painted with the house OG print.
Hats, scarves and braces complete the cold season.
Care
Silk ties are not ironed: roll them and let them rest flat. The crease drops out on its own.
Undo the knot every evening. Left tied, it permanently distorts the bias of the cloth.
