Men's trousers, from the atelier patterns
The garment by which a tailoring house is judged: how the leg falls, how the waist holds, how freely the rise lets you walk.
Fits
Oia: straight, soft leg. For linen and pale cotton.
Biddy: high waist, generous volume through the thigh. The oversized line.
Cargo: side patch pocket, clean leg.
Denim: the five pocket, cut like a tailored trouser.
Our shorts follow the same fits in a shorter version.
Cloth
Spring and summer: linen, light cotton, seersucker, silk.
Autumn and winter: flannel, gabardine, combed wool. Weights that hold the cold without stiffening the drape.
Some models are made in Dalmut Fiber, the house's exclusive cloth: extremely light, with a natural stretch.
Sizing and length
S/46 · M/48 · L/50 · XL/52. On oversized fits the volume is built into the model: stay with your usual size.
Length is judged with the shoe you will wear most often. A centimetre changes the fall.
Care
Linen: hand wash in cold water, hang while still damp.
Wool and gabardine: professional cleaning. Hot water and a spin cycle change the handle of the cloth in ways that cannot be undone.
