Over shirt
Generous body, generous sleeve, dropped shoulder. The most informal of our shirt fits.
The shape
The shoulder falls below the bone: that is what gives the line, and why you should not size up.
A length made to be worn untucked.
Cloth
Linen and cotton for summer. Suede and gabardine on the more structured versions.
Volume asks for cloth that falls: stiff fabrics on an oversized shape only bulk.
Frequently asked questions
Should I size up?
+
No. The volume and the dropped shoulder are built into the model: a size up loses the line.
Is it tucked in?
+
No, the length is made to be worn out.
Does it work under a jacket?
+
No. A dropped shoulder and that volume do not sit under a structured jacket.
How does it differ from the Safari?
+
The Safari has patch pockets and a waist belt. The Over is clean, without pockets, and fuller through the body.
